“I have personally had the experience to work with Tim Mendenhall, owner of TIMCO. The home that TIMCO designed and built for me was my very first home. I had no idea of how the whole process worked, or where to begin. One phone call to TIMCO and I was comfortable and excited about the whole process. They helped me to design my home so that it was perfect for me and my family. Tim took the time to meet with me at a lot that I had picked out, to ensure that the home plan that he helped me design, would work great for the particular lot that I had picked out. Tim has a really great vision of every facet of building a custom home. Through every step of the process he was able to help me to visualize what was going to happen in each phase of construction. He has a great sense of design and style, and he would always take a look at every single square inch of the home inside and out as he was building the home, and he would discuss alternatives that would look better, or add more style to the home, and even more practical uses of space. I was so amazed at the personal attention to detail that Tim takes when building a custom home. This extra detail doesn't cost more or even slow him down one bit with the project, but the end result is a beautiful home, built with pride and creativity as if he was building the home for himself. A few examples of the types of things that Tim changed for me as he was building my home was that he added these neat and unique plant shelves, special nooks or open shelves built into the walls for decorating purposes, special changes to enhance ambiance and mood lighting, changing areas that were just blank hidden space into unique accessible storage areas. He has a lot of experience with building custom homes, and he has a lot of great ideas that he can recommend to have you do that will save you money if you decide to add things to your home later. An example of this was that he gave me the idea of having my electrician add a plug up under the eaves of the house that were controlled by a switch in the garage so that I can plug my Christmas Tree lights in without running extension cords around and down the sides of my house, and I could turn them on and off safely from inside the garage which was very nice on those wet and stormy nights that we have in December . He had me run speaker wires, and home networking cables to each room of the house, and to my back porch, that ran to the entertainment center. His ideas are absolutely amazing. After the home was built, I did use every single one of the pre-installed special wiring for an elaborate entertainment system throughout the house, and in my back yard, and if Tim would not have given me the idea to add it to the home during the construction, I would not have been able to do it so easily and so cheaply. You just don't get that type of service these days. With TIMCO, you do. Thank You Tim Mendenhall, and the rest of the crew at TIMCO for making my first dream home become a reality.
